I'm an instructor, artist, designer and avid tinkerer. I've been using radio in my work for some time now, and I felt there was lack of a simple tool that would enable me to use radio transmission as a compositional device, i.e., to control the functions of a radio transmitter programmatically. Bolstered by the incredible maker scene out there, I cobbled together some hardware and software that would fit the bill.
